Unheard Voices, is a project collecting and telling stories untold. We want to take your untold story into the world… in the way you want it told… in a way it can be heard.
We know that by sharing your private experiences, you can help others (who share that experience) feel less alone. We can develop materials to stimulate insight and action around social justice and voice. And we want to create an audience for your story by helping people hear what they might find difficult to hear.
We are actively looking for people who want to get involved in our work
Overview
People are energised and feel a sense of possibility when they hear stories that connect with their own lives – and are then moved to bring their experience into the public domain. This gives people the sensation of being seen on their own terms, which in turn opens up the possibility of knowing their story differently and stepping into new action.
A collection of different marginalised voices coming together to create a podcast/video series as a resource to be used in the NHS, Universities and beyond, demonstrating the potential that comes from people being supported in sharing ignored experience and taking it into the public domain.
